Museum Of Santa: SANTA BARBARA ISLANDS, a group off the coast of California, lying 20 to 60 miles from the mainland, south and southeast of Santa Barbara city. They are eight in number; San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, Anacapa, Santa Barbara, Santa Catalina, San Clemente, and San Nicolas. From San Miguel on the north to San Clemente is about 155 miles.

The principal manufactures are woolen goods, glassware, and agricultural implements and machines. The city has several hospitals, a public library, and a museum of Santa with collections of relics of the early days of California. Santa Ana was founded in 1869 and incorporated in 1886. Santiago Calatrava : The Architect's Studio
Models, sketches and designs created by international architect Santiago Calatrava arrived in Santa Barbara with the opening of the University Art museum of Santa's new exhibit, 'Santiago Calatrava: The Architect's Studio.'
Organized by the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle and curated by Kirsten Kiser, the show is the second in a series of three architectural exhibits at the museum of Santa. |
