London Outlook: Robinson's controversial Cartoons of the War (1916) was a satirical record of his experiences at the front Throughout the 1920's Robinson continued tc produce illustrations and cartoons for such periodicals as Masses, Liberator, Harper's Weekly, and the London Outlook. He taught at the Art Students League of New York between 1918 and 1929.
The Kaiser put the German Army through its paces for him and gave him photographic souvenirs of the event with delightfully indiscreet and humorous captions handwritten on the back; these are still preserved and shown at Roosevelt's home, Sagamore Hill. In London he acted as official American representative at the funeral of King Edward VII. Returning to New York on June 18, he immediately took up his duties as contributing editor of The Outlook.
