Fine Art Ntly:

Fine Art Ntly REBEL YELL, the cry of the Confederate jps as they rushed to battle in the American il War, although as a matter of fact they fre-ntly shouted the names of their states, as "On ginia I" "On North Carolina!"—and so forth. 5 difficult to interpret the rebel yell in written ;uage. It was very different from the full-'d "hurrah" of the North, being more like a ek. Near the crisis of a charge the men Id change from a double-quick to a mad rush, :ly yelling "Y-Yo Yo—Wo-Wo," for the triple >ose of encouraging each other and confusing terrorizing the enemy.
